Eye Protection - FAQs
How is the Eye Protection feature useful?
The Eye Protection feature helps encourage a safer distance between the child’s eyes and the smartphone screen. It can support healthier screen habits when a child uses a smartphone for a long time.
What happens when the child holds the phone too close to their eyes?
Kroha displays a warning window on the child’s Android device when the screen is held too close. The warning disappears after the child moves the smartphone farther away from their eyes.
Why is Night Mode useful?
Night Mode reduces blue light exposure from the smartphone or tablet screen in the evening. Parents can adjust the color temperature, light intensity, and automatic schedule for Night Mode in the Kroha app.
What is the Whitelist used for in Eye Protection?
The Whitelist allows parents to exclude selected apps from Eye Protection or Night Mode settings. This can be useful for apps where warning messages or blue light filters may interfere with normal use, such as video conferencing apps.
Is Kroha Eye Protection available on a child’s iPhone or iPad?
No. Kroha Eye Protection is available only on children’s Android devices. It is not available on iPhone or iPad due to iOS system limitations.
